To live in a fully functional and beautiful home.
To deliver the client a gorgeous home that met their needs without over capitalising the site and their investment in their own home.
Limitations of the site; The home is on parkland adjoining the yarra river with significant and many overlays needing to be observed. North/south and east/west easements through the block also affected the building envelope. The design and town planning application needed to respect and address these easements and overlays.
The original 20 square home was re-built resulting in a 40 square home with beautiful finishes. A recent valuation of the property validated the owner’s decision to rebuild.
